State firms must tackle inefficiencies or restructure
The government is set to kick-start a drive to reform a suite of state-owned enterprises after significant inefficiencies were revealed. The cabinet agreed in its monthly meeting at the end of last week that one of the priorities it wants to carry out over the next several months is to inspect the operation of state-owned enterprises nationwide.
