Lao silversmith eyes lustre of export markets
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – A Lao producer of handmade bowls used for almsgiving hopes to expand into additional lucrative overseas markets after receiving a good reception from customers in Thailand.
“We hope to export our copper, bronze, and silver handicrafts to other countries after our products have sold well at exhibitions in Thailand,” a representative of Viengsavan Silver-Copper Handicraft Co., Ltd., Ms Thiphaphon Soumphonphakdy, told Vientiane Times.
