Huaphan’s handmade textiles make their mark in New Mexico

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Hand-woven textiles made in Xamtay district, Huaphan province, are proving to be very popular in one US city, where they were displayed at the 16th International Folk Art Market held in Santa Fe, New Mexico, last week.

Two representatives from Huaphan province were invited to attend the event which took place from July 13-15.
