Controlling goods prices not easy in Laos
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – The Ministry of Industry and Commerce is encountering hurdles in stabilising the prices of goods in Laos as most are imports from Thailand, according to a ministerial report.
The commerce ministry unveiled the report on the administration of goods prices and imported goods in Laos at the joint cabinet-provincial and Vientiane Mayor’s meeting last week, indicating that price changes in Thailand had a big influence on the prices of goods in Laos.
