Itinerant workers among high risk HIV groups in Laos
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Itinerant workers and their wives are among the high risk groups for HIV infection in Laos, a study undertaken by the Centre for HIV/AIDS/ Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) and the National Committee for the Control of AIDS has revealed.
Head of Office of the National Committee for the Control of AIDS, Mrs Thamma Phetvixay, highlighted the findings during a recent meeting to discuss ways to combat the spread of HIV/AIDS/STI.
