Savannakhet police raid weeds out marijuana crop

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Police in Savannakhet province on Monday seized a large marijuana crop in Kaysone Phomvihane city’s Somsa-ath village, which a villager had clandestinely planted within a rubber plantation.

The raid netted 166 growing marijuana plants, and another 154 harvested plants that had been dried.
