Saemaul Globalisation Foundation supporting Lao development with 11b kip
The Saemaul Globalisation Foundation from the Republic of Korea has agreed to support socio-economic development in rural Vientiane with more than 11 billion kip (US$1.3 million).
The support is for the Saemaul Pilot Village Development Project which aims to promote rural production among local residents in target villages so they will have more revenue as well as strengthen the nation’s overall socio-economic development.
The project will be implemented in the three target villages of Donevangpho, Thadeua Singhom and Markhiew in Pakngum district, Vientiane.
