Revenue from mining predicted to fall by 1.93 per cent in 2019
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – The value of mineral production is expected to drop by 1.93 per cent this year, attributed to the fact that some large mines are slowing production in anticipation of closure next year.
Last year the government set the target for mining revenue at 11,868 billion kip, but this year is looking at earnings of 11,640 billion kip.
