Project to boost Lao textile exports to Europe
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Laos needs to promote and build the capacity of the home textile sector to create greater opportunities for local producers so they can boost exports to the European market, according to a sector official.
That was the message from Director General of the Trade Promotion Department, Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Mr Xaysomphet Norasingh on Wednesday at the agreement signing ceremony between Laos and the Kingdom of the Netherlands for the Home Textiles – Laos project.
