Lao National Road 11 construction officially kicks off

The Ministry of Public Works and Transport has agreed with Thai and Lao consultants and contractors to begin construction of National Road No. 11, which will link Vientiane via Xayaboury province to northern Thailand.
The over 122-kilometre road will take 36 months to complete and is expected to open for the public in 2022.
