Korea, Asean provide 1,000 tonnes of rice for Lao flood victims
The government of the Republic of Korea is continuing its assistance to Laos in the wake of widespread flooding that occurred in many provinces, with Attapeu being the worst affected area.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea reiterated his country’s support for Laos on Friday when 1,000 tonnes of rice from the Asean Plus Three Emergency Rice Reserve (APTERR) tier 3 programme, as part of Korea’s contribution to affected communities, was handed over to Lao officials.
