Japan grants over US$ 8.9m for Lao development
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – The Japanese government has agreed to provide grant aid of over 76 billion kip (US$8.9 million) for four projects of country development.
A signing ceremony for the Exchange of Notes on Four Grant Aid Projects was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vientiane on Wednesday with the notes signed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Sengphet Houngboungnuang and Japanese Ambassador to Laos, Mr Takeshi Hikihara.
