Floods cause temporary closure of tourist sites
Some tourist attractions are temporarily closed as they cannot be accessed during the wet season after heavy rainfall has made dirt roads impassable. An official with the Attapeu provincial Information, Culture and Tourism Department, Ms Bounthong Bouphasavanh, told Vientiane Times on Friday that Xepha and Xeponglay waterfalls in Sanamxay district were currently inaccessible.
