25 Chinese Nationals Deported for Illegally Entering Laos
Twenty-five Chinese nationals have been deported from Laos after they attempted to enter the country illegally in Yodou District, Phongsaly Province.
Media Laos reports that 25 Chinese nationals, including two women, were handed over to customs authorities in China at the Lanetoui International Border Checkpoint between Phongsaly Province and Southern Province of Yunnan in China. The Chinese nationals intended to travel and visit Laos without legal documents, but police officers of the Yodou District detained them on the charge of illegal immigration, according to Mr. Bounthon, Deputy Head of the General Police Department in Yodou District, Phongsaly Province.
