Wastewater treatment plant slated for Vientiane

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Vientiane’s first-ever Water Treatment Project for wastewater treatment will be implemented next year.

This was announced at a conference on “Opportunity and Challenge of Wastewater Treatment in Laos”, organised by Lao Project Company and Ministry of Public Works and Transport on Thursday.

According to a project official, the government of Hungary had agreed to provide a loan of US$100 million in 2017 for the Water Treatment Project in Vientiane.
