Vietnam bolsters investment in Lao public works and transport, energy and mines

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Vietnam has invested US$4.1 billion in 409 projects in Laos, with the largest investments being in the public works and transport, energy and mines, and agriculture sectors.

Minister of Planning and Investment Dr Soukphanh Keomixay said Vietnam ranks third among all foreign countries investing in Laos, with the value of investment reaching about US$4.1 billion, according to Lao Economic Daily.
