New project promoting export competitiveness in northern Laos
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – A new Promotion of Export Competitiveness in Northern Laos (ECL) project aims to increase investment in exports of targeted sectors to sustainably improvement incomes of poor households, particularly women.
The target is to be achieved by improving the export competitiveness of the three northern provinces, with a special focus on improving the local business environment.
