Lao ministry admits challenges in tackling wildlife crime
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Major challenges lie ahead in countering wildlife and aquatic animal crimes, according to a report from the Forest Inspection Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
The recently released National Wildlife and Aquatic Crime Response Action Plan 2025 reports that Laos is often a point of connection between transnational crime networks, traders and buyers of illegal wildlife products.
