Laos, EU, Unicef join forces to improve nutrition in Savannakhet

Savannakhet province: The government, the European Union (EU) and UNICEF are increasing their efforts under the Partnership for Improved Nutrition, with the aim of improving the nutritional status of children.
Despite the progress made in recent years, Savannakhet province has a high prevalence of stunting, underweight and wasting, which is a public health problem, according a report issued during a media visit to Savannakhet from October 21-22, supported by UNICEF and the EU.
