FEATURE: Signature foods from Xanakham district are a hit

XANAKHAM, Laos (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Xanakham district in Xayaboury province has been famous for its rich and fertile soil and its premium quality bananas, tamarind, pineapples and coconuts for many years.

The processed products of these locally grown fruits, jam, is now becoming equally famous and many different varieties are proving a popular choice of souvenir for travellers and visitors to the area.
