(Vientiane Times)- The United Nations is assessing the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on Laos’ ability to rise above Least Developed Country (LDC) status in 2024 as planned.

The data up until 2019 indicated that Laos is on track to meet all the criteria set by the United Nations as a benchmark for countries to graduate from the list of least developed nations… speech by Lao Deputy Prime Minister.
