Biodiversity project supports Lao National Arbour Day
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – The Asian Development Bank (ADB)-funded Biodiversity Conservation Corridors (BCC) project has provided 10,000 seedlings to help the government fulfil its ambition to extend the number of green spaces in Vientiane this year.
Some of the seedlings were planted in the Botanical Garden at Huay Yang-Dong Makkhai in Xaythany district.
The rest will be planted during the course of this month in the National Protected Areas of Phou Khao Khouay and Phou Phanang in Vientiane province, and in Borikhamxay province.
