Ancient shafts shed light on Sepon’s mining history
A team of Lao-Australian archaeologists have discovered evidence that shows the current site of Sepone mine in the central province of Savannakhet was already an mining site as early as a thousand years ago. Remarkable discoveries of artefacts and evidence of ancient mining at the current Sepon mine had been made, Lane Xang Minerals Limited (LXML) announced yesterday.
