Accelerating state reserve’s utilisation as govt steps up
The Ministry of Finance has detailed and simplified procedures aiming to hasten processes to utilise the State Reserve to finance emergency expenses and other expenditures when in need. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Somdy Duangdy recently issued a decision stating that the reserve may be used for disaster relief, interventions to balance market distortions and other stated purposes based on approval by the government.
